Sukkur (Report by Danish Rajput) Under the chairmanship of Assistant Commissioner Sukkur City, Ms. Sobia Falak Rao, a meeting was held to review the preparations for Independence Day celebrations and the “Battle for Truth” theme. The meeting was attended by Sumandar Khan Bhutto, Mukhtiarkar Sukkur City Babar Balo, Assistant Mukhtiarkar Ejaz Khoso, Shabbir Memon, as well as various business and media representatives.
It was decided in the meeting that events will be organized throughout the city from August 1 to 15, including speech competitions, quizzes, videography contests, national song competitions, and shop decoration contests in schools and public places.Assistant Commissioner Sobia Falak Rao stated that this year, Independence Day will be celebrated in a unique and vibrant manner to help the younger generation understand Pakistan’s history and sacrifices. She instructed all concerned officials to ensure that all activities are carried out in a well-organized and effective manner, creating a festive environment across the city.Mukhtiarkar Babar Balo emphasized that the people of Sukkur have strong patriotic sentiments and the administration, in collaboration with the public, will take every possible step to ensure the success of these events. He added that he will personally remain in the field to supervise the arrangements and ensure everything goes smoothly.
