The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has officially announced a 16-member squad for the upcoming three-match T20I home series against the Netherlands as well as for the Asia Cup 2025, scheduled to be played in the UAE next month.

Wicketkeeper-batter Litton Das has been entrusted with the captaincy of the squad, as Bangladesh looks to build momentum ahead of the prestigious Asian event.

Netherlands T20I Series

The home series against the Netherlands will consist of three T20Is to be played in Bangladesh from August 30 to September 3, 2025. The series will serve as a crucial preparation platform for the Tigers before they head to the UAE.

Asia Cup 2025 Schedule

The Asia Cup T20 tournament will run from September 9 to September 28 in the United Arab Emirates. Bangladesh has been placed in Group B alongside Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan.

• Bangladesh will play their first match on September 11 against Hong Kong.
• Their second group match is on September 13 against Sri Lanka.
• The final group-stage clash will be on September 16 against Afghanistan.

These fixtures will determine whether Bangladesh can advance to the Super Four stage, where they will face the top teams from both groups.
