Following a tragic altercation between members of the Solangi and Hakro communities over a minor dispute among children in the village of Wadero Muhammad Urs Solangi near Bhirya City, Sardar Israr Ahmed Solangi, Chairman of the Solangi Qaumi Movement, visited the home of the deceased, Liaquat Solangi, to offer condolences to the grieving family.

Accompanied by a delegation of community leaders and party members, Sardar Israr expressed his deep sorrow over the incident and extended heartfelt sympathies to the family of the deceased. Speaking to the relatives and community members present at the gathering, he emphasized the deteriorating law and order situation in Sindh and stressed the importance of maintaining peace and refraining from taking the law into one’s own hands.

“Sindh is currently passing through a very sensitive and critical phase,” Sardar Israr Ahmed Solangi said. “Such unfortunate incidents—triggered by minor issues—are threatening the social fabric and peaceful coexistence of our communities. It is essential that we resolve our differences through lawful means and uphold harmony.”

He assured the bereaved family that their registered case would be fully pursued and that justice would be ensured. “You are not alone in this struggle,” he told them. “The entire Solangi community stands by your side. We will leave no stone unturned until all the culprits involved in this heinous act are arrested and punished according to the law.”

Sardar Israr further informed those gathered that he had held a meeting with SSP Naushahro Feroze, Mr. Rohail Khoso, to personally follow up on the case. “The SSP has given us his firm assurance that the remaining suspects who are still at large will be apprehended soon and brought before the court,” he stated.

During the condolence visit, a large number of Solangi community members were present, demonstrating unity and solidarity with the affected family. Among the notable attendees were Wadero Afzal Solangi, Haji Ejaz Solangi, District President Muhammad Suleman Solangi, Chairman Ushr & Zakat Committee Haji Sajan Solangi, Faqir Ali Solangi, and other respected figures of the community.

The atmosphere was filled with grief and emotion as family members of the deceased recounted the heartbreaking incident that led to the untimely death of Liaquat Solangi. According to eyewitnesses and local reports, the clash began as a trivial argument between children but quickly escalated when adults from both communities got involved, resulting in a fatal attack.

Community elders present during the visit urged both sides to exercise restraint and called on law enforcement to take swift and decisive action to prevent further escalation. Many emphasized the importance of peaceful dispute resolution and appealed for communal harmony, especially in rural areas where tribal affiliations and rivalries can quickly turn deadly.

Sardar Israr Ahmed Solangi reiterated that the Solangi Qaumi Movement is committed to justice, peace, and the rights of the common people. He condemned the culture of violence that stems from small disputes and vowed that such tragedies would not be allowed to continue unchecked. “Every human life is precious,” he said. “No grievance, however great, can justify taking the life of another. We must evolve and educate ourselves to respond with wisdom and civility.”

He also emphasized the need for government and police reforms, saying that negligence and delayed responses from law enforcement often lead to escalations. “It is time the government of Sindh strengthens its rural policing mechanisms and ensures that every citizen, regardless of their background, receives swift protection and justice,” he added.

The attendees discussed steps for promoting peace in the region, including community dialogues, educational awareness campaigns, and active involvement of local leadership in resolving disputes before they turn violent. The elders highlighted that such meetings, when held regularly, can help ease tensions between different clans and tribes and build mutual understanding.

In his closing remarks, Sardar Israr once again expressed solidarity with the grieving family and assured them of continued support. He urged the youth of the community to stay away from violence and contribute to building a progressive and peaceful Sindh. “The future of this province lies in the hands of its youth. Let’s make sure it’s a future of unity, development, and justice,” he concluded.

The condolence visit was seen as a significant step by the Solangi Qaumi Movement toward promoting accountability and justice within their own community. It also sent a strong message that tribal or familial loyalties should never override the rule of law.

The family of the deceased expressed gratitude for the support and hoped that justice would be delivered swiftly. “We only want justice for Liaquat,” said one family member tearfully. “We trust that with the support of our community and the authorities, the guilty will not go unpunished.”

As of now, one or more suspects involved in the incident have reportedly been arrested, while others remain at large. Police investigations are ongoing, and the community continues to closely monitor the developments in the case. The call for justice has grown louder, not only within the Solangi community but among broader circles in Naushahro Feroze, who see this incident as a wake-up call for stronger conflict resolution and legal intervention across Sindh.
