Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Asim Munir, has said that he fulfills all his responsibilities in accordance with the commands and guidance of Allah, and that Pakistan emerged victorious by the will of God in its conflict with India. Speaking at the ceremony, Field Marshal Munir emphasized that Pakistan is a peace-loving nation but will always respond firmly to aggression. He stated that whenever war is imposed on Pakistan, the country has responded with determination and will continue to do so in the same manner demonstrated during the events of May when tensions escalated dramatically.

Reflecting on past conflicts, he noted that when Muslims place their trust in Allah, even the smallest effort—symbolized by “a handful of dust”—can be turned into a powerful weapon by the will of God. He mentioned that divine support has always played a central role in Pakistan’s defense, saying that Allah elevated Pakistan’s honor in the face of Indian hostilities.

Field Marshal Munir said, “I perform my duties according to the command of Allah and His instructions. Whatever responsibilities I have been entrusted with, I carry them out with the belief that Allah sees all and that Pakistan’s protection is a sacred trust.”

He added that Allah’s special mercy enabled Pakistan to overpower its enemies. “Pakistan has made its adversaries bite the dust. This army is the army of Allah, and our soldiers fight in the name of Allah,” he remarked, highlighting the deep spiritual resolve within the ranks of Pakistan’s armed forces.
