The death toll from floods in Texas, USA, has risen to 51, and 27 missing girls have still not been located.

The U.S. state of Texas is experiencing severe flooding due to heavy rains, with several feet of water accumulated in different areas.

According to a foreign news agency, homes, roads, and vehicles have suffered extensive damage. Fallen trees have blocked routes, and various accidents have resulted in the deaths of 51 people, including 15 children.

In Kerr County, 43 people have died, and in Burnet County, three deaths have been reported. Around 27 girls attending a summer camp near a river have gone missing, and a search operation is underway to locate them.

A total of 850 people have been rescued from the affected areas. Authorities have also advised people not to enter the flood-hit zones.
