Jhelum: The suspect who opened fire outside the academy of Engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza was killed in an exchange of fire with police, according to official sources. The incident occurred a day earlier when an unidentified individual carried out indiscriminate firing near the premises of the academy, causing panic in the area.

Police officials stated that security personnel present at the scene responded promptly to the attack. During the exchange of fire, the attacker was neutralized, while one police officer sustained injuries. The injured officer was shifted to a nearby medical facility, where he is reportedly receiving treatment.
