Iranian Foreign Minister Holds Key Meeting with Saudi Crown Prince to Discuss Regional Situation

Jeddah: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to discuss the current regional situation.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, the meeting took place on Tuesday in Jeddah, where Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman welcomed Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his delegation.

The meeting was part of ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral ties and address the region’s unstable conditions.

During the talks, the Crown Prince and Araghchi reviewed the state of Saudi-Iranian relations and exchanged views on recent regional developments.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman expressed hope that the current ceasefire agreement between Iran and Israel would serve as a foundation for promoting security and stability in the region.

He emphasized the importance of dialogue in resolving regional conflicts and reducing tensions.

On this occasion, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi thanked Saudi Arabia for condemning Israeli aggression and appreciated the Crown Prince’s personal efforts to promote peace and stability in the Middle East.

Earlier on Tuesday, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan received his Iranian counterpart in Makkah, where both ministers discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and regional collaboration.
