The federal government has made public another set of Toshakhana records, detailing the gifts received by top officials of Pakistan between July and September 2025 during their foreign visits. According to the report released by the Cabinet Division, both President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif received gifts from foreign dignitaries during this three-month period.

The data shows that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif topped the list in terms of the number of gifts received, followed by several key cabinet members and senior officials. Among the notable recipients were Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Railways Minister Hanif Abbasi, Power Minister Owais Leghari, Senate Chairman Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani, National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, Senate Secretary, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, IT Minister Shaza Fatima, and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi.

Other individuals named in the record include Minister of State for Law Barrister Aqeel Malik, Interior Secretary Khurram Agha, and Deputy Chief of Protocol. These officials received various gifts during their participation in state visits, official meetings, and diplomatic events abroad.

The first-quarter Toshakhana report of the 2025-26 fiscal year lists the gifts as including luxury wristwatches, decorative pieces, paintings, perfumes, shields, carpets, and tea sets. Other items such as a rifle, wall clocks, bowls, pens, and diaries are also recorded.

According to the Cabinet Division, all recipients submitted their gifts to the Toshakhana in accordance with official rules. The valuation process for these gifts is currently under way to determine their worth and decide whether any may later be purchased by the recipients as per government policy.
