Pakistan Railways has announced the operation of three special trains on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha to facilitate passengers traveling between major cities.

According to railway officials, the first Eid special train will depart from Quetta to Rawalpindi today at 10:00 AM. The decision has been taken to manage increased passenger demand during the festive season and provide better travel facilities.

A spokesperson for Pakistan Railways said the train consists of eight economy-class coaches and one power van, with seating capacity for more than 500 passengers.

The train will travel through several key cities, including Sibi, Jacobabad, Sukkur, Multan, and Lahore, before reaching its final destination in Rawalpindi on May 24.

Railway authorities stated that all necessary arrangements have been completed to ensure smooth and timely operations of the Eid special trains. Staff have been instructed to maintain punctuality and provide maximum convenience to passengers.

Officials added that the additional train services aim to reduce pressure on regular trains, which usually experience heavy rush during Eid holidays as people travel to their hometowns to celebrate with their families.

Pakistan Railways has traditionally introduced special Eid trains to accommodate increased passenger flow, especially from remote and far-flung regions. These services are expected to ease travel difficulties and improve overall passenger management during the busy holiday period.
