A couple who married by choice

, Naseem (daughter of Abdul Rasool Bhurt) and Ghaus Bakhsh (son of Mir Muhammad Bhurt), residents of Bhurt near village Haji Abdul Karim Bhurt, reached Bhiria City Press Club seeking protection.
While crying in front of the media, Naseem Bhurt said:
“I married Ghaus Bakhsh Bhurt of my own free will on 24th June 2025 in the court of Nawabshah (Shaheed Benazirabad). After that, my father, uncle Luqman Bhurt, paternal uncle Ali Asghar, Abdul Ghaffar, and others have become life-threatening to us. They want to kill us in the name of Karo-Kari (honor killing), and are registering false cases against my husband and his family, issuing death threats.”
Naseem and Ghaus Bakhsh further cried out, saying:
“We have not committed any crime by marrying by choice. We are now forced to live a life of displacement and fear. We demand the right to live.”
They strongly appealed to SSP Naushahro Feroze and SSP Dadu to immediately dismiss the false cases filed against them and their families, and to provide them with protection.
