Gold Prices Fall by Rs1,800 Per Tola in Pakistan

KARACHI: Gold prices declined sharply in Pakistan on Wednesday, with the price of 24-karat gold falling by Rs1,800 per tola, in line with a drop in international bullion markets.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of one tola of gold decreased to Rs432,036 after the latest reduction.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs1,543, bringing it down to Rs370,401.

The decline in domestic prices followed a downward trend in the global gold market, where the price of the precious metal dropped by $18 per ounce to $4,096 per ounce.

Gold prices in Pakistan generally fluctuate in line with international market trends and movements in the exchange rate, resulting in frequent adjustments in local bullion rates.
