Ahmedabad (Reporter) – A tragic accident involving an Air India passenger plane occurred in Ahmedabad, the capital of the Indian state of Gujarat. The crash claimed the lives of 241 people, including crew members. However, one passenger miraculously survived.

According to a British news agency, the sole survivor of the crash is a British citizen. After the accident, he contacted the media and shared details of his boarding pass and seat number.

Meanwhile, Ahmedabad Police Commissioner G.S. Malik stated that the passenger, who was seated on seat A-11 of the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, survived the crash and is currently undergoing treatment at a local hospital.

According to Air India officials, the passenger seated at A-11 is named Vishwash Kumar Ramesh and is a British citizen.

Speaking to Indian media, Vishwash Kumar said that about 30 seconds after takeoff, there was a loud explosion, and shortly afterward, the plane crashed to the ground and was destroyed. “It all happened very quickly,” he said.
