Air Chief Marshal Meets Saudi Air Force Commander, Discusses Bilateral Defense Cooperation and Regional Security

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: During his visit to Saudi Arabia, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), held a high-level meeting with Lieutenant General Turki bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Commander of the Royal Saudi Air Force.

According to ISPR, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad also met General Fayyaz bin Hamid Al-Ruwaili, Chief of General Staff of Saudi Arabia.

During the visit, the PAF Chief was welcomed with a Guard of Honor by the Royal Saudi Air Force. The discussions focused on bilateral defense cooperation, regional security, and opportunities for future collaboration.

Both sides expressed satisfaction with the current level of cooperation and agreed to enhance ties through joint training, operational collaboration, and exchange of professional expertise.

The meetings reaffirmed that the Pakistan-Saudi Arabia defense partnership symbolizes mutual trust and longstanding brotherly relations.

Air Chief Marshal Zaheer highlighted the historical and fraternal ties between the two countries and reiterated his commitment to strengthening military cooperation through multinational exercises. He also briefed on the PAF’s transformation into a multi-domain force.

The Saudi defense leadership appreciated the PAF’s professional skills, operational superiority, and combat readiness, and expressed interest in joint training and practical cooperation in multi-domain operations. They also commended Pakistan’s positive role in promoting regional peace and stability.
