India’s Claim of No U.S. Role in Pakistan-India Ceasefire Declared False

Washington: The United States has dismissed the Indian government’s claim that Washington had no role in the Pakistan-India ceasefire, calling it false.

During a briefing, U.S. State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce said, “Some comments speak for themselves. In the modern era, you don’t rely on just one statement to understand the full picture.”

She added, “Some people’s opinions are simply incorrect. President Trump has made things clearer in this regard.”

  • Trump once again takes credit for the Pakistan-India ceasefire.
  • India insists the ceasefire was bilateral, denying any U.S. role.

Tammy Bruce further stated that U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance also participated in the Pakistan-India negotiations and that his involvement will be acknowledged.

It is worth noting that former President Donald Trump has repeatedly claimed credit for helping broker a ceasefire between Pakistan and India. However, the Indian government has consistently denied any American role in the process.

Pakistan, on the other hand, nominated President Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize in recognition of his role in the ceasefire efforts.
