US Deploys Troops Toward Iran, Including Warships and Aircraft
US President Donald Trump announced that a significant US naval and air force has been deployed toward Iran.
Speaking to media representatives on Air Force One, President Trump said that multiple warships and aircraft are being stationed near Iran. However, he emphasized that this military movement does not necessarily mean that the US will initiate any military action.
Trump stated that the US is closely monitoring Iran’s activities, and the deployment of forces is a precautionary measure. He added that the situation will be assessed as events unfold.
He claimed that following the US warning, Iran canceled some of its death penalty decisions.
Regarding Iran’s nuclear program, the US President said that if Iran attempts to develop nuclear weapons, the US would strike again. However, he also mentioned that the US is ready for negotiations if Iran wishes to engage in talks.
On global affairs, President Trump said that the US is working to end the war in Ukraine and will cooperate with NATO on Greenland’s security. He further noted that he plans to visit China in April, and the Chinese President will visit the US at the end of the year.
