Intense Attacks by Resistance Fighters in Gaza, Attempt Made to Capture Israeli Soldier

Fierce attacks by Palestinian resistance fighters against the occupying Israeli forces continue in Gaza.

During an assault today, fighters from the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades—the military wing of Hamas—attempted to capture an Israeli soldier.

According to a statement released by the Qassam Brigades, resistance fighters attacked a group of Israeli soldiers in Khan Yunis this morning, targeting a tank and two armored vehicles.

In the same attack, the fighters also hit two Israeli bulldozers.

Later, the resistance fighters engaged in close combat with Israeli troops and made an attempt to capture one of the soldiers.

However, the Qassam Brigades stated that due to the situation on the battlefield, capturing the soldier was not possible. As a result, the fighters killed the soldier and seized his weapon.

Speaking to Arab media, a commander from the Qassam Brigades said that although they were unable to capture Israeli soldiers in today’s operation, they are confident they will succeed in future missions.

It is worth noting that yesterday, Qassam Brigades spokesperson Abu Ubaida also hinted at upcoming operations aimed at capturing Israeli soldiers.
