Hyderabad: Site Police in Hyderabad have arrested two alleged drug dealers and recovered more than 2.5 kilograms of hashish during an operation carried out as part of the ongoing crackdown against narcotics.

According to police, the operation was conducted under the supervision of SDPO/DSP Dr. Sanobar Riaz and led by SHO Shaukat Ali Mallokani along with his team.

The arrested suspects were identified as Ameer Jan, son of Dost Muhammad Umrani, and Mazhar alias Mozu, son of Azhar Brohi, both residents of Shah Latif Colony, Site Area, Hyderabad.

Police said that 1,260 grams of hashish were recovered from the possession of Ameer Jan, while 1,250 grams of hashish were seized from Mazhar alias Mozu, bringing the total recovery to 2,510 grams.

A case has been registered against the suspects at Site Police Station under FIR No. 113/2026 pursuant to Section 9-C of the Control of Narcotic Substances (CNS) Act. Further investigation is underway.

Police officials stated that operations against drug traffickers will continue without discrimination to help protect the younger generation from the dangers of narcotics.
