Dr. Aftab Azam further said that people in the district suffering from eye diseases should immediately contact the administration of Civil Hospital Sanghar, as Dr. Mir Khalid Iqbal Talpur, Executive Director of SIOVS Hyderabad, with the support of the Fred Hollows Foundation, is carrying out cataract and glaucoma surgeries entirely free of cost through Dr. Inayat Bhargari. A significant number of patients have already undergone surgeries and have received modern lenses.

Dr. Aftab Azam appealed to the people of the district, especially residents of Achhro Thar, to contact the hospital administration for these free eye surgeries.

In addition, he mentioned that work has also begun on another excellent project of the Sindh Government — a modern incineration plant where hazardous medical waste will be burned. This plant is equipped with a treatment system that purifies toxic gases to prevent them from being released into the atmosphere, thereby avoiding any negative impact on environmental pollution.
