One killed, 12 injured in collision on Shahrah-e-Bhutto bridge

A woman was killed, and 12 others were injured in a road accident on the newly constructed Shahrah-e-Bhutto bridge, which connects Korangi with Karachi’s airport.

According to rescue officials, the accident occurred when a speeding vehicle crashed into a Suzuki pickup from behind.

The injured included five women and two children, while three of the victims were reported to be in critical condition. All injured persons were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

The driver of the vehicle responsible for the collision fled the scene following the accident. Rescue teams and authorities reached the spot and initiated further proceedings.
