Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has stated that Iran has no intention of launching an attack on any country and is only exercising its legitimate and lawful right to self-defense. His remarks come amid ongoing regional tensions, where concerns about escalation have remained high.

In an official statement, President Pezeshkian подчеркнул that Iran’s fundamental stance is based on maintaining peace, stability, and security in the region. He stressed that the country does not seek to intensify conflict or contribute to further instability.

“We do not intend to start any war or conflict,” he said, reiterating that Iran has not initiated hostilities. According to him, Iran’s actions are purely defensive and aligned with international law, aimed at safeguarding its sovereignty and national interests.

The Iranian president highlighted that his government’s priority is to ensure regional peace and avoid unnecessary confrontations. He emphasized that Iran’s policies are rooted in restraint and responsibility, even in the face of challenges.

These statements reflect Iran’s effort to present its position as defensive rather than aggressive, particularly at a time when geopolitical tensions in the Middle East have drawn global attention. Observers note that such messaging is often intended to reassure both domestic and international audiences while signaling openness to de-escalation.

President Pezeshkian’s comments also underscore the broader narrative that Iran seeks stability in the region rather than conflict. By framing its actions as self-defense, Iran is attempting to justify its policies within the framework of international norms and laws.

While the situation in the region remains complex, the Iranian leadership’s public stance indicates a preference for avoiding escalation, at least at the level of official rhetoric. Analysts believe that continued diplomatic engagement among regional and global powers will be crucial in preventing further tensions.

In conclusion, the Iranian president’s statement reinforces the country’s position that it does not aim to attack others but reserves the right to defend itself. The emphasis on peace and stability suggests a cautious approach, even as regional dynamics continue to evolve.
