Pakistan Decides to Extend Airspace Ban for Indian Aircraft by One More Month

Islamabad (Monday, June 23, 2025) – Pakistan has decided to extend the ban on its airspace for Indian aircraft for one more month, starting today.
According to aviation sources, following tensions between Pakistan and India, Pakistan had initially closed its airspace to Indian aircraft on April 24. This restriction was extended for another month on May 23, which ends today.
Now, a decision has been made to keep the ban in place for one more month starting today. In this regard, a NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) will be issued by the afternoon. It is worth noting that India has also reciprocated by closing its airspace to Pakistani aircraft.
