According to a KE spokesperson, out of 2,100 feeders, electricity is being supplied through 1,975 feeders, ensuring that most areas of Karachi continue to receive power without significant interruptions.

The spokesperson noted that certain low-lying areas are experiencing temporary disruptions due to waterlogging from recent heavy rains. Restoration work in these areas has been delayed, but KE teams are actively working to resume electricity supply as soon as safety clearances are obtained. The utility company emphasized that safety remains a top priority, and power will only be restored after ensuring that conditions are secure for both workers and residents.

In addition to power updates, traffic conditions on the M-9 Motorway (Lyari Expressway) were reported to be normal. According to a motorway police spokesperson, the expressway is fully operational, with no water accumulation affecting vehicular movement. Drivers have been urged to exercise caution, particularly in areas prone to waterlogging, and to avoid non-essential travel during periods of heavy rainfall.

Authorities have assured the public that patrolling officers and administrative personnel are actively monitoring the situation to ensure the safety of commuters and residents.
