Indian Cricketer Booked for Alleged Rape – What Punishment Could He Face if Found Guilty?
A case has been registered against Indian cricketer Yash Dayal over allegations of sexual assault made by a woman.
According to Indian media reports, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) fast bowler Yash Dayal has been booked in a rape case.
The woman, a resident of Ghaziabad, had filed a complaint alleging that the cricketer sexually exploited her. She accused him of physical and mental abuse during their five-year relationship.
She also claimed that Yash Dayal exploited her financially by making false promises of marriage.
Indian media reports further state that if the charges are proven, Yash Dayal could face up to 10 years in prison under Indian law.
