Sukkur, candidates who passed the NTS test for recruitment in the Sindh Police staged a protest.

They stated that they had secured more than 70 marks in 2024, but they have not yet received their appointment orders.

The protest was held in front of the Sukkur National Press Club, led by Waras, Torab, Mukhtiar Ali, Shah Rukh Ali, and other youth belonging to underprivileged families.

The demonstrators said they are educated young individuals who passed the test on merit, yet they are being ignored for recruitment in Grade 7 of the police department.

They alleged that political interference is behind the delay and non-issuance of appointment orders, due to which poor candidates are facing severe mental and financial distress.

They demanded that the government and higher authorities immediately take notice and issue the orders so the candidates’ futures can be secured.

The protesters warned that if their demands are not met, they will expand the scope of their protest.
