iPhone 17 Officially Arrives in Pakistan, Prices Leave Consumers Stunned

Apple’s latest iPhone 17 series has officially been launched in Pakistan, offering consumers a full lineup that includes the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and the ultra-slim iPhone Air.

All models have been fully approved by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), ensuring network compatibility and warranty support for local buyers.

iPhone Air Prices in Pakistan:

  • 512GB: PKR 563,000
  • 1TB: PKR 646,500

iPhone 17 Prices:

  • 256GB: PKR 399,000
  • 512GB: PKR 482,500

iPhone 17 Pro Prices:

  • 256GB: PKR 520,500

Why Are Prices So High?
Experts attribute the steep prices in Pakistan to import duties, taxes, and PTA registration charges. For instance, the iPhone 17 Pro Max starts at USD 1,199 in the United States, whereas its 256GB variant is priced at PKR 565,000 locally.

The launch has generated considerable excitement, but the high price tags may pose a challenge for the average Pakistani consumer eager to own the latest iPhone.
