Dodapur – A strong protest was staged by the families, including women and children, of three villagers who were killed in an alleged police encounter following the martyrdom of police constable Munir Soomro in the jurisdiction of Waris Dino Machhi police station.

The protesting families claimed that they had no involvement in the killing of the martyred policeman. “The police have wronged us,” they said. “Our innocent young men were picked up and killed in a fake encounter. Now, the police are not even handing over their bodies.”

They further stated that the actual culprits involved in the murder of the police officer are others, not their loved ones.
