OpenAI has launched a new feature that enables WhatsApp users to request and receive custom images created by ChatGPT through written prompts.
According to reports, OpenAI stated that WhatsApp users can now simply describe the image they want in text, and ChatGPT will generate it using its built-in AI image capabilities.
This builds on a previous update from December 2024, which allowed users to interact with ChatGPT on WhatsApp. Now, with the latest update, the image generation feature has been added.
How to Use the Feature:
- Save the number
1-800-242-8478in your contacts or click on a special link provided by OpenAI to start the chat on WhatsApp. - Connect your WhatsApp with OpenAI’s ChatGPT account.
- Type in a detailed description of the image you want — for example, “a futuristic city at sunset with flying cars” — and ChatGPT will create and send the image back to you.
OpenAI has confirmed that this feature is now available for all WhatsApp users globally.
