Zardari bore all expenses of recent private foreign trip: Spokesperson
President Asif Ali Zardari’s recent foreign visit was entirely private, and all expenses related to the trip were paid personally by the president.
Clarifying media reports about the visit, his spokesperson said President Zardari had privately chartered the aircraft used for the trip.
The president personally covered all expenses related to the aircraft, including those of the crew, parking and accommodation, the spokesperson said.
He added that all other expenses connected with the foreign visit were also borne personally by President Zardari.
