LAHORE: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Lahore has delivered its verdict in another case related to the violent incidents of May 9, sentencing several senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders to prison while acquitting former foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi.

The verdict was announced by ATC Judge Manzar Ali Gill at Kot Lakhpat Jail, where proceedings in the high-profile case were conducted. The case concerned allegations related to the burning of police vehicles during the unrest that erupted across the country on May 9, 2023.
