Acting on secret intelligence, the police foiled an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of counterfeit currency. Three suspects were arrested, and a staggering Rs. 200,000 in fake notes was recovered during the operation.

Intelligence-Based Operation by Patni Police

On the directives of SSP Sukkur Azhar Khan, SHO Patni Police carried out a targeted operation near Sardar CNG Station. The raid was executed following a tip-off about a group of individuals involved in the circulation and transportation of fake currency notes.

During the operation, the police intercepted three suspects who were attempting to move counterfeit notes into the local market. The suspects were apprehended on the spot, and their possession was thoroughly searched. Upon inspection, police recovered counterfeit notes amounting to Rs. 200,000 (two hundred thousand rupees).
