Two dead, twelve injured due to roofs collapse in Mehar and Nowshera Virkan
Two people lost their lives and twelve became critically injured in two roof collapse incidents in Mehar and Nowshera Virkan.
The first incident occurred in Chahal Kalan at Hafizabad Road in Nowshera Virkan. The walls of the house were made of mud, and the roof was made of wood. In which the middle wall of an old house and four people were trapped under the rubble after the roof collapsed.
Soon after receiving the report, Rescue 1122 rushed to the site of the incident and retrieved the two people under the debris.
Incharge of Rescue 1122 Nowshera Virkan Irfan Musa is personally supervising the operation.
The second incident took place in the Mehar area of Sindh province, where 10 students were injured when the roof of their school collapsed.
According to residents, the school building had been in a dilapidated state for a long time. The injured students were immediately shifted to the hospital for medical aid. The injured students are Ayesha, Rehmat, Dua, Zoya, Ayan Ali, and others.
