Bajaur: Two people, including Awami National Party (ANP) leader Maulana Khan Zeb, were killed in a firing incident near the Khar Tehsil Headquarters in Bajaur.

According to DPO Waqas Rafiq, three companions of Maulana Khan Zeb were also injured in the attack and have been shifted to a hospital for treatment.

Maulana Khan Zeb was the head of ANP’s Ulema Council and a former National Assembly candidate.

The DPO stated that Maulana Khan Zeb was targeted on July 13 during a campaign related to a peace march.
