From each card, Rs. 2,000 to Rs. 3,000 is openly being deducted, and poor, helpless women are being shamelessly looted in public.

On the other hand, due to road blockages, passengers are facing severe difficulties, while both the taluka and district administrations remain silent. Hundreds of women are standing in lines on roads and rooftops to receive their stipends, and videos of this situation have gone viral on social media.

In this regard, device holders in Mirpur Bathoro have set up their own system, distributing BISP funds from various shops in the city center. In one case, funds were being distributed from an open rooftop of a shop through which electric wires were passing — creating serious hazards, especially for women who brought small children with them.

As the distribution occurs on the city’s main roads and markets, large crowds of women are blocking the streets, leading to repeated road closures for hours throughout the day. This caused immense trouble for travelers and residents alike. Despite being aware of the entire situation, the administration has remained helpless and taken no legal action. Deserving women have been left at the mercy of the device holders.

While on one side, these women are being disrespected in such a manner, on the other, the device holders are boldly and publicly deducting Rs. 2,000 to Rs. 3,000 per card, looting poor women in broad daylight. In many cases, even double payments loaded onto the cards are not being given to the recipients.

Concerned local citizens have expressed serious worry and demanded that BISP funds be distributed with dignity at the officially designated centers. They urged that women should not be forced to stand on rooftops or streets, as this is disgraceful. Large crowds of women can be seen on Korwah Road and Sujawal-Hyderabad Road, causing major traffic disruptions and passenger hardship.

They called upon the administration to hold device holders accountable and ensure that full stipends are distributed without any illegal deductions, and only at official centers — in a fair and respectful manner to these underprivileged women.
