Home Department issues threat alert for Quetta session court, other judicial facilities
The Balochistan Home Department has issued a security threat alert warning of a possible suicide attack targeting the Quetta Session Court and other judicial facilities in the provincial capital.
According to the alert, which was circulated to courts, judges, and members of the legal community, authorities have directed all concerned to adopt extraordinary security precautions in view of the potential threat.

Lawyers familiar with the contents of the alert said it claims that an alleged suicide bomber, identified as “Horan” and reportedly linked to the Majeed Brigade, the suicide wing of the banned Balochistan Liberation Army, has allegedly reached Quetta with accomplices and is believed to be in the Sariab area.
The alert stated that the suspect could target the Session Court or other court premises.
