In the ongoing Pakistan Super League season, Fakhar Zaman of Lahore Qalandars has been charged with a Level 3 offense for ball tampering. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) issued a public notice stating that Fakhar Zaman violated Article 41.3 of the PSL Playing Conditions, which pertains to altering the condition of the ball. Match referee Roshan Mahnama conducted the disciplinary hearing, during which Fakhar Zaman denied the charges. PCB confirmed that a further hearing will take place within the next 48 hours, after which the match referee will announce the final decision regarding the case.
