Sukkur: Acting on public complaints, Assistant Commissioner New Sukkur Bushra Mansoor, accompanied by Assistant Mukhtiarkar Ijaz Khoso, conducted surprise inspections of LPG shops in various areas of New Sukkur Taluka.

During the operation, heavy fines were imposed on several LPG dealers for overcharging customers, operating without valid licenses, and violating safety regulations. A number of shops were also sealed on the spot for non-compliance.

Assistant Commissioner Bushra Mansoor directed all LPG dealers to strictly adhere to the government-approved price list, fulfill all legal requirements, and ensure compliance with safety standards. She warned that overpricing, hoarding, illegal business practices, and violations of safety regulations would not be tolerated, adding that strict legal action against violators would continue without discrimination.

Residents appreciated the administration’s action and urged the authorities to maintain effective control over prices and continue regular inspections to protect consumers.
