ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s security forces have killed four more militants during ongoing operations under Operation Shaaban in Balochistan, according to security sources, as the campaign against armed groups continues across the province.

The operation is being carried out jointly by the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan, and police against militants referred to by officials as “Fitna al-Hindustan.”

Security sources said confirmed reports indicate that four militants were killed during the latest actions conducted by security forces in different operational areas.

According to the sources, the total number of militants killed during Operation Shaaban has now reached 83.

They further stated that, since July 5, a total of 121 militants have been killed in various security operations conducted across Balochistan.

Officials said the security campaign will continue until what they described as the elimination of the last militant operating in the province.

The latest operations are part of an intensified counterterrorism campaign launched in response to recent militant attacks in Balochistan. Security forces have been conducting intelligence-based operations, search missions, and targeted raids in several districts aimed at dismantling militant networks and restoring law and order.

Authorities have not released further operational details regarding the locations of the latest engagements or the identities of those killed.

Security officials reiterated that operations will continue in coordination with law enforcement agencies to prevent militant activity and enhance security across the province.
