Israeli PM: Permanent ceasefire to be discussed during 60-day truce in Gaza

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that negotiations for a permanent ceasefire will take place during the proposed 60-day truce in Gaza.

In his message, he said that if Israel’s conditions are not met during this period, they will be enforced through military power.

Netanyahu said that Hamas laying down arms, relinquishing governance over Gaza, and ending its military capabilities are among the basic conditions for a ceasefire.

According to the Israeli Prime Minister, if our conditions are not fulfilled during the 60-day truce, we will enforce them through force.

It is worth noting that indirect negotiations between Israel and Hamas for a ceasefire have been ongoing in Qatar since Sunday. The United States, Qatar, and Egypt are acting as mediators in these talks.
