The United States Embassy in Pakistan has announced the cancellation of all visa and American citizen services appointments for today.

According to an official statement, the cancellations apply to the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad as well as the consulates in Karachi and Lahore.

Affected individuals have been advised to wait for the announcement of new appointment dates. The embassy confirmed that visa and consular services in all three locations are suspended for the day.
