Chilas: Pakistan Markazi Muslim League (PMML) has completed its relief operation for families affected by the recent cloudburst in the Thor Valley of Chilas, providing essential aid to those impacted by the natural disaster.

According to a statement issued by the party, the PMML’s Public Welfare Department (Khidmat-e-Khalq Wing) in Lahore distributed a wide range of relief supplies among affected families. The assistance included dry food rations, clothing, bedding, kitchen utensils, gas cylinders, and other essential household items to help residents cope with the aftermath of the disaster.

A relief distribution ceremony was held in the Thor Valley area of Chilas, where several senior leaders of the party participated. Among those present were PMML Lahore General Secretary Chaudhry Hameed-ul-Hasan Gujjar, Pak Traders Forum Chairman Hafiz Ashfaq, the President of the Lahore Public Welfare Department, and officials representing various tehsils.

During the event, the delegation met with families affected by the cloudburst to assess their condition and understand the challenges they continue to face. Party representatives assured the victims that every possible effort would be made to continue supporting them during the recovery process and to stand by them until normal conditions are restored.

The relief operation focused on meeting the immediate needs of displaced and affected families by providing essential supplies required for daily life. Organizers said the initiative was aimed at easing the hardships caused by the disaster and offering timely assistance to those in need.
