California (September 9, 2025): Following the launch of its latest flagship series — the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max — Apple has announced a price reduction on some of its previous-generation devices.

According to Apple’s official statement, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are now available at reduced prices, marking a $100 drop across both models.

• The iPhone 16 (2024 model), which previously retailed for $799, is now priced at $699.
• The iPhone 16 Plus is now available at $799, compared to its earlier price of $899.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 16e — the most affordable option in Apple’s lineup — remains unchanged at $599.

In addition to the price cuts, Apple has also confirmed that it will discontinue official sales of the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. While these models may still be available through third-party retailers, they will no longer be sold via Apple’s official channels.
