Jerusalem — Despite the ceasefire and the start of prisoner exchanges under the Gaza peace deal, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has maintained his defiant tone, declaring that Israel’s military operations in Gaza are not yet over. His remarks have once again underscored his hawkish stance amid growing calls for a lasting truce.

In a nationally televised address, Netanyahu claimed that Israel continues to face significant security threats, warning that certain militant factions are attempting to regroup and launch fresh attacks. “Some of our enemies are reorganizing and preparing to strike again,” he said, adding that the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) are “fully prepared to respond decisively.”

The Israeli leader praised his military for what he described as “exceptional achievements” during recent operations in Gaza. “Wherever our soldiers fought, they achieved success,” he asserted. “Their courage and discipline have once again demonstrated the strength of the Israeli nation.”
