Quetta – The Balochistan Home Department has imposed Section 144 across the province for a period of one month due to security and law and order concerns.

According to the notification, the enforcement of Section 144 includes a strict ban on public gatherings and assemblies throughout Balochistan. The order prohibits the gathering of five or more people in any public place, including rallies, protests, and sit-ins.

The Home Department further stated that the display and carrying of weapons in public has also been banned under the same regulation. These measures have been taken to maintain peace and prevent any untoward incidents amid the current security environment.
