Monsoon Rains in Lahore Disrupt Cricketers’ Training
Monsoon rains in Lahore have disrupted the training sessions of national cricketers.
According to sources, the skill development camps for national red-ball and white-ball cricketers have been delayed.
The camps were scheduled to begin at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) from Monday, but due to the ongoing spell of rain, they could not commence as planned.
Sources indicate that a new schedule for the camps will be decided next week, as waterlogging at the LCCA Ground and the NCA Ground has made it impossible to start the sessions.
However, players residing in Lahore are continuing their individual training in the indoor hall of the NCA. It’s also noted that the skill development camps for white-ball cricketers have already been held in three phases in Lahore.
