In her address, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz praised the Communication and Works (C&W) Department, saying their work over the past year is commendable. She stated that the public is satisfied with the construction and repair of roads across Punjab, and that an extensive road network has been laid out within just one year. She also paid tribute to the relevant authorities for completing road construction projects in record time.

Maryam Nawaz mentioned that so far, 12,000 kilometers of roads have been constructed across Punjab. She highlighted that the underpass project in Rawalpindi was completed in record time, and that it will save the public about one hour of travel time between Rawalpindi and Chakri.

She further stated that a project worth Rs. 50 billion is also underway to address water shortages in South Punjab.
