Hyderabad (Zulfiqar): Acting on the directives of DIG Hyderabad Range Tariq Razzaq Khan Dharejo and under the leadership of SSP Hyderabad Adeel Hussain Chandio, Hyderabad Police carried out effective operations against drug dealers in various areas of the city.

During these actions, seven suspects were arrested, while a large quantity of hashish, locally brewed liquor, liquor bottles, and three motorcycles were recovered.

According to details, Fort Police Station conducted an operation and arrested Muhammad Anwar Khan Pathan. From his possession, 1 kilogram and 49 grams of hashish were recovered. A case has been registered against him under Crime No. 136/2025, Section 9(1) 3(c) of the Narcotics Act.

Meanwhile, CIA Paban Police carried out a raid against drug peddlers and arrested Haji Waseem Kamboh, Muhammad Haroon Qureshi, Danish Neilgar, and Muhammad Babar, while one suspect managed to flee the scene. From the arrested and absconding suspects, 25 liters of locally brewed liquor were recovered. A case has been registered under Crime No. 436/2025, Section 3/4 of the Hudood Ordinance.

Similarly, Hali Road Police Station conducted an operation and arrested Muzaffar alias Mozu Mangni and Niaz alias Kaka Baloch. Six bottles of liquor were recovered from their possession, and a case was registered under Crime No. 257/2025, Section 3/4 of the Hudood Ordinance.

In addition, AVLC Hyderabad, under the supervision of its in-charge, conducted operations in different areas and recovered three abandoned motorcycles. Efforts are underway to trace the owners of the recovered motorcycles, and further investigation is in progress.

According to the spokesperson of District Police Hyderabad, operations against narcotics will be further intensified in the city, and action against criminal elements will continue without discrimination.
