Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s scheduled diplomatic tour of key regional countries has been rescheduled, with Saudi Arabia now set as his first destination, according to official sources.

Sources said the Prime Minister will first visit Saudi Arabia, followed by Qatar and then Türkiye. During these visits, he is expected to hold high-level consultations on important diplomatic matters, including regional security developments and ongoing international negotiations.

According to details, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to meet Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Saudi Arabia tomorrow. The meeting will focus on strengthening bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, along with discussions on key regional and global issues.

Officials indicated that the talks are likely to cover the evolving situation in the region, including developments related to the possible blockade of the Strait of Hormuz and the next round of US–Iran negotiations. Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic engagement and mediation efforts are also expected to be part of the agenda.

Sources further added that both sides will review ways to deepen cooperation in economic, political, and strategic sectors. The meeting is being seen as part of Pakistan’s broader diplomatic outreach aimed at enhancing coordination with friendly countries amid rising regional tensions.

The Prime Minister’s visits to Qatar and Türkiye are also expected to include similar consultations on regional stability and bilateral cooperation, as Pakistan continues to engage key allies in discussions on peace and security.
