Sukkur (Bureau Report):
Deputy Inspector General of Police Sukkur Range, Captain (R) Faisal Abdullah Chachar, has announced a major breakthrough in a long-pending kidnapping and murder case. The case, registered as FIR No. 21/2019 under sections 302, 364, and 34 of the Pakistan Penal Code at the Sorah Police Station, District Khairpur, pertained to the abduction and murder of Nadir Ali, son of Muhammad Ali Rajpar.

The actual accused—Ghulam Shah Shabbir, son of Umar Deen, and his wife Rubina—were arrested following professional and meticulous investigation. The DIG praised the efforts of the investigation team for handling the case with diligence and integrity. Sub-Inspector Munshad Kalhoro, the investigating officer, gathered strong evidence which was presented in court. Based on the substantial proof provided during the trial, the honorable court convicted the accused and sentenced both to life imprisonment.

In recognition of his outstanding investigative performance, DIG Sukkur Range awarded Sub-Inspector Munshad Kalhoro with a “CC-II Commendation Certificate” along with a cash reward.

DIG Faisal Abdullah Chachar, in his message, emphasized that officers and personnel demonstrating exceptional professionalism in investigation processes will continue to be acknowledged with commendation certificates and incentives in future cases as well.

He further added, “This conviction not only provides justice to the victim’s family but also sets a strong precedent for law enforcement to pursue justice without fear or favor.”
