TMC Manghopir Chairman Assures Resolution of Hamdard University Employees’ and Workers’ Concerns

Chairman of Town Municipal Corporation Manghopir, Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi, held a detailed and significant meeting with the administration of Hamdard University. During the meeting, extensive discussions were held regarding the University’s administrative challenges, particularly the long-standing issues faced by its employees and labour workforce. Local leaders of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) also participated in the meeting to formulate a mutually agreed course of action for resolving these matters. The meeting was attended by Chairman Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi along with prominent Pakistan Peoples Party leader Khalifa Mir Muhammad, Council Member Kausar Iqbal, and Councillor Saleem. The administration of Hamdard University warmly welcomed the Chairman and the PPP delegation and briefed them on the University’s ongoing affairs. On this occasion, the Hamdard University administration highly appreciated the record development projects carried out by Chairman Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi in the area, as well as his dedicated public service. The administration expressed confidence that under the leadership of Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi, there would be significant improvement in the educational and civic environment of the University and its surrounding areas. The most important agenda of the meeting was the issues concerning the University’s labour workforce. Chairman Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi assured the University administration that the legitimate demands and concerns of the labour community would be addressed on a priority basis. He stated, “Preserving the dignity of educational institutions and safeguarding the rights of the workers serving within them is our collective responsibility, and God willing, all obstacles in this regard will soon be removed.” The University administration thanked Chairman Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi and the Pakistan Peoples Party delegation for their sincere efforts and timely assurance, and both sides agreed to continue their mutual cooperation in the future.
