A comprehensive operation was carried out around the historic Ghanta Ghar area in Sukkur under the guidance of Assistant Commissioner Madam Sara Faraz to remove encroachments, illegal structures, and unauthorized parking. The operation aimed to improve traffic flow in one of the city’s busiest areas and address difficulties faced by the public.

According to details, Assistant Commissioner Sara Faraz inspected Ghanta Ghar and its surrounding streets, reviewing illegal structures, extra goods placed outside shops, and improperly parked vehicles. Relevant staff were present to assist in the enforcement actions.

During the operation, shopkeepers were strictly instructed to remove any extra goods outside their shops and to keep items confined within their own premises. Owners of illegally parked vehicles were also warned and informed that legal action would be taken in case of future violations.

Madam Sara Faraz emphasized that encroachments and unlawful parking not only cause traffic congestion but also create serious problems for the general public. She asserted that the operation would continue to maintain order in the city, and no one would be allowed to violate the law.

Local residents and citizens welcomed the administration’s initiative, expressing hope that such measures would enhance the traffic system and provide better convenience to the public.
